Sunday August 2: Madonna Palace Sq St Petersburg Russia
This morning we have a situation, Paul is suffering excruciating pain from his left shoulder. It is so bad that the Doctor/Paramedics have had to be called in. After a rigorous examination they administered him something to ease the pain (a shot in the back side) and also to reduce the inflammation. Unfortunately this is a quick fix solution and he has been advised to rest and seek specialist advice tomorrow. With a month of the tour remaining totalling 22 gigs, rest is going to be impossible. There's a lot a stake here and some gigs will almost definitely have to be cancelled.
Its quite amazing to see Madonna's stage in the Palace Square. Its an impressive location with what was once the Palace on one side and the Hermitage on the other, we are surrounded with history on both sides.
Paul was seen by another doctor on site in his dressing room This doctor administers another shot in the arse to ease the pain (a contradiction in terms), but it seems to be working for him being as he has more movement in his shoulder and we are told the 'rotation' is good.
Later as show time arrives Paul strolls on stage to be welcomed by an audience of some 40,000 and the venue continues to fill. Into his set the rain comes down and the St Petersburg umbrellas go up, something not many of us have ever seen! Umbrellas at a gig doesn't stop the vibe or the build of atmosphere, just the lack of participation in hand claps Though painful for Paul, this still this proves to be a fantastic gig. St Petersburg rocks.

Caster Semenya is causing a stir, and people are searching high and low for Caster Semenya photos. Caster Semenya is a track athlete from South Africa, and she has been recently ordered to undergo testing to see if she is actually a woman. Caster is known for exceptional speed, muscle definition and an unusually deep voice for a
woman. The universal gender testing has been abandoned by the IOC, and complete gender tests are far more complex than armed forces loans applications. Blood work, invasive probing, the works – it would be less invasive and painful to get auto financing than to conclusively prove Caster Semenya is a female, according to athletic organization standards.
